THE PEN – September 2019 – ANZAC Day BBQ

Our club, along with other Rotary and Rotaract clubs in our Frankston area, came together again this year to help serve the Frankston RSL’s Gunfire Breakfast at Beauty Park in Frankston.  Our volunteers turned up bright and early on 25th April, and thanks to the generosity of the public, $2,130.60 was raised through the tin rattle and will be donated to the RSL Veterans.

We presented a cheque for this amount to Frankston RSL Vice President John Barry, who in turn passed this on to the Welfare Department to be used as required.  We look forward to being a part of this event again in 2020.
